One of the simplest features of Android is that the ability to vary almost anything about the design and feel of the OS. Apps, email,  themes, default apps, are all changeable by the user.

How to use Google Keyboard on any phone: in short:

To switch to the Google Keyboard,  follow these steps:

•  Open the Google Play Store app on your phone and look for Google Keyboard.
•  Install Google Keyboard
•  Open Settings on your smartphone then within the Personal section tap on Language & Input
•  within the Keyboard & Input section tap on the present Keyboard option then select Google Keyboard from the choices.
•  Launch any app with a text field (email, messaging, search, etc.) and therefore the Google Keyboard should now be your default.
