 How to add Timestamps in Description in YouTube videos?

1. Head to YouTube studio and click on the video o=in which you want to add timestamps
2. Now click on the description box.
3. Then start your timestamps like this- 00:00 (text)
4. Continue this timestamps as the content of your video.
5. Click on save and your timestamps gets saved.

 

 Formats of Timestamps:

1. If your video is less than 1 hour, then format is like this-

MM:SS- example (M-minutes; S- seconds)

2. If your video is more than 1 hour, then format is like this-

HH:MM:SS- example (H- hours; M- minutes; S- seconds) 

 

When to expect our video to get updated with our timestamps?

YouTube says that it will update your video according to timestamps with chapters either immediately or within 48 hours
